People sometimes expect a US–Canada courier to be headquartered somewhere on the border itself -- Buffalo, Detroit, one of the crossing towns. We're in Boston instead, and it's a deliberate choice, not an accident of where the founders happened to live.
Boston sits within a day's drive of most of our busiest Northeast-to-Ontario and Northeast-to-Quebec lanes, has deep logistics and supply-chain talent to hire from, and put us close to the customers -- mostly small and mid-size businesses -- who ship the most volume across the border.
The network operates the border crossings; the HQ just needs to be close enough to run it well.
